Larry Tassini

Larry has been practicing Pilates for 15 years. He credits his experience teaching mat classes at Balanced Fitness of Buffalo, NY for inspiring him to pursue a Masters Degree in Health and Human Performance. Now an adjunct professor of Anatomy and Physiology, he recently became certified in Elkins Method Pilates, and brings his scientific background to each mat class. Larry focuses on using new and established, clinically-supported methods shown to improve physical fitness to his Pilates classes to help clients meet their goals in a challenging, fun environment.

Larry recently developed Suspension Pilates for the Pilates loft. This method uses TRX-like straps and relies on Pilates movement and principles to build muscle strength and endurance. It is especially beneficial for balance and core stability.
